European Frequency Control Congress
November 21, 2017 l Munich

Call for Papers & Workshops
Deadline for submission: August 31, 2017

It is difficult to think of an electronic application that does not depend, in one way or another, on correct timing of what it does. Crystals and oscillators are typical means of implementing a time or frequency reference in a circuit.

A problem confronting many developers when needing to make sure of proper timing of their circuit is that they are not too familiar with the choice, the properties and possibilities of frequency-determining components.

The European Frequency Control Congress 2017 is an international conference plus exhibition aimed at showing what frequency-determining components are all about. The EFCC 2017 intends to keynote current trends and advances in this sector, and deliver impetus, suggestions, tips for use of these components in a variety of applications.

The conference spans technical fundamentals and the status of ongoing research, plus useful information on implementing commercially available products. The accompanying exhibition is an opportunity to span and look into the present selection of products, talk to specialists, and exchange experience and ideas.

Examples of the topics covered by the EFCC 2017:

  • Basics of oscillators and crystals
  • Current range of oscillator technologies
  • Designs and correct specifications
  • Major parameters - tolerance, stability, tuning, cuts
  • Applications – typical and examples – for oscillators

Of course other suggestions in and around frequency-determining components are welcomed. Why not participate in the EFCC 2017 and send us an explicit résumé of your paper now!

Target audience: The EFCC 2017 is aimed at both entry-level engineers who wish to acquire the necessary basic skills to work successfully with frequency-determining components, as well as experienced developers and users interested in exploring new technologies and possibilities of application.

Presentations can be held in German or English.

We look forward to all your interesting proposals.

Final date for submission is August 31, 2017.
